There are different types of sprays that can be used for wound dressing shortly after the cut has been made.
This is to prevent eutypa, harmful pathogens and fungal infections from entering the vine through the open wound and will work as a shield to protect against them.

We highly recommend and nearly always use Vinevax, an effective and natural fungus Trichoderma, formulated to support colonisation of fresh re-worked and pruning wounds which has been proven to protect your vines, even after 12 months.

PAINTING

The alternative to spraying the vines open wounds, is to paint them. Painting the wounds will work as a shield.
